The North Shore Black Bear Network is a partnership of local and regional government groups, private endeavours, and many dedicated and hardworking volunteers across the North Shore. It supports the co-existence of black bears and humans living in harmony.

Our research committee maintains statistics on bear activity and human responses, records areas of high bear activity, identifies sources of bear attractants in the community and distributes monthly bear activity reports.
